MDT KNX catalogue for India: the eight product families
MDT technologies GmbH, based in Engelskirchen near Cologne in Germany, develops and produces more than 600 KNX building automation products. They are grouped into eight families by function and material. Morion Automation is the authorised MDT distributor in India. This guide shows what each family covers; the full product list is a download away.

Part numbers above are examples taken from each family's range, not a complete list. The suffix after the dot (for example .03) marks the series of that device.
MDT switch actuators: AKS and AKK
Most lighting in an MDT system is switched by an Acturio switch actuator in the distribution board. The AKS standard range runs from 2-fold to 24-fold at 16 A, and the AKK compact range is narrower at the 4-fold and 8-fold sizes. Widths are in modules (SU) on a DIN rail.

For single loads in a switch box, the flush-mounted AKK-01UP.03 (1-fold, 16 A) and AKK-02UP.03 (2-fold, 10 A) are in the Acturio range too.
