MDT glass push-buttons are stand-alone KNX keypads with a glass front, listed in the Lucilio family of the MDT catalogue. They mount in an installation box on the wall. Morion Automation is the authorised MDT distributor in India.

MDT's own site writes the second push-button as "II Light"; installers also search for it as "II Lite". Both mean the same product¹.

Glass Push Button II Smart

The Smart push-button has a large colour display that shows a symbol or free text per button. The buttons can be set to 1-button or 2-button operation, with up to 12 functions on 2 or 3 levels, and up to 6 functions without switching level. The display brightness follows a light sensor and a day/night object, and it needs no extra power supply. MDT recommends an installation height of 1.50 to 1.60 m. The T versions have a temperature sensor and, with an MDT heating actuator, work as a room temperature controller¹.

Glass Push-button II Light

The Light push-button has touch areas rather than a display: 1, 2 or 4 areas per device, in white or black, with neutral, up/down or I/O engraving. Functions include switching, dimming, blinds, scenes and value sending, with multi-touch, short and long press, and a slap function. Two RGBW status LEDs per button pair can follow a day/night or brightness object¹.

MDT sells glass cover frames in black or white for the 55 and 63 systems: 1-fold at 92 x 92 mm, 2-fold at 92 x 163 mm and 3-fold at 92 x 234 mm¹.
