Who we are

Morion Automation Pvt Ltd (“Morion”, “we”) is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through www.morion.in and access.morion.in. This policy follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the Sites, we collect:

• Enquiry and contact forms: name, email, phone number, role (for example architect or integrator), subject and the message you write.
• Downloads and technical support requests: the details you enter, plus the item requested.
• Live chat: what you type in the chat and any contact details you share. Chat replies may be assisted by an AI assistant.
• Email subscriptions: your email address and preferences if you subscribe to updates.
• Website usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. This is collected automatically with cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it

We use personal data for these purposes:

• to answer your enquiry, prepare quotations and provide product support;
• to send product updates and offers if you asked for them (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• to understand how the Sites are used and improve them;
• to keep the Sites secure and meet legal obligations.

Tools we use

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and may store data outside India:

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google) for usage statistics.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) to see how pages are used, for example where visitors click and scroll.
• Meta Pixel (Meta) to measure the effect of our advertising and understand visits.
• Odoo (Odoo S.A.) hosts our enquiry forms, CRM, live chat, downloads and email marketing.
• Microsoft 365 for our business email.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the tools above. On access.morion.in you can choose “Only essentials” or “I agree” in the cookie notice, and the analytics and advertising tools there load only after you agree. On www.morion.in these tools are active by default, and you can block them in your browser settings or with a browser extension. You can also delete cookies at any time. Sharing

We share personal data only with the service providers above, with the brand manufacturer when your enquiry needs their input, with professional advisers, and when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and customer records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal and accounting obligations, and in any case for up to 3 years from our last contact with you. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in our analytics tools.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. Write to info@morion.in with “Privacy request” in the subject. We aim to reply within 30 days.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure.

Children

The Sites are for business use and are not directed at children.
