Continuous fresh air

Filtered, energy-saving, quiet enough for a bedroom.

Blauberg's HRV units bring in filtered outdoor air and pass the warmth (or coolness) of the outgoing air to it, so less energy is spent on the fresh air. The Komfort Ultra units return up to 79% of the heat on the -H ME models (73% on the -E ME) with EC fans and run at 25 to 46 dB(A) at 3 m, quiet enough to run continuously, day and night.

The range

Five units covering a whole house: the vertical Komfort EC SB 350 HRV unit, a suspended HRV unit for the main system, a compact inline extractor, and two further Komfort variants for different scales.

Quick answers

Who makes Blauberg, and where?

Blauberg Ventilatoren GmbH is headquartered in Munich, Germany. The Blauberg story began in Trier, Germany, in 1952, with an air duct manufacturer. It is a German brand with production in Europe, the US and Asia.

What does the Blauberg range cover?

Household and commercial ventilation: single-room and whole-house HRV units, centralised air handling units, air distribution, smoke extraction and air conditioning. This page shows the units Morion Automation offers for homes.

What does an HRV unit do?

An HRV unit brings outdoor air in through a filter and passes the heat from the outgoing stale air to it, so less energy is spent heating or cooling the fresh air. The Komfort EC SB 350 returns up to 92% and has an F7 supply filter. The Komfort Ultra 350 returns up to 79% (-H ME models).

Which unit suits which space?

Airflow is the guide. The Komfort Ultra 350 moves up to 350 m³/h, the Komfort EC SB 350 up to 450 m³/h, the Komfort GRE EC 1000 up to 1000 m³/h and the Komfort GRE EC 2000 up to 2000 m³/h. The Turbo 150 is a compact inline extractor.

Can it connect to the building's automation system?

Blauberg's own documents list Modbus and BACnet for building management systems, and Wi-Fi with the Blauberg Home app on some units. They do not list a native connection to the building's automation bus on the units shown here, although a Modbus-to-KNX converter exists for some systems. Ask Morion Automation which unit suits the control system on your project.
